Frequently Asked Questions

Can I fit a cat flap into a patio door?

Yes you can, if it is single or double glazed, then the glass will need to be replaced by an expoerianced glazier or glass company who can offer you a price for the replacement cost.

How long is the installation process?

It varies, but usually takes around 1 hour to install a cat flap into UPVC. If it is a cat flap in glass or a double glazed unit, the glass will be toughened safety glass and usually take 3-5 working days to manufacture and about 30 minutes to install again, subject to type and style of door or frame.

How much does it cost?

Each installation can vary in cost due to a number of factors. These include:

  • The size of panel being installed into
  • Is a replacement panel required, if double glazed it will be
  • Are you supplying the cat flap or would you like us to

For a free, no obligation quote you can send us a picture of the area and an approximate size and a member of our team will be in touch.

Can you cut directly into double glazed units?

Unfortunately not, as the glass is treated if we try and cut directly into a already installed unit it would shatter. For double glazed units holes have to be pre cut as part of the manufacturing process.
